Imagine a world full of people who could handle their emotions, people who could act in line with the person they want to be, no matter what thoughts or feelings were swirling inside them.

It seems impossible perhaps, but if one of us can do it, if you can learn the skills to do this, then why not everybody else?

Can you sit and feel an urge to do something, or a mild irritation, without needing to respond? Can you just notice an annoyance inside you without acting it out?

This is the beginning of that world. It takes practice and patience, but not as much as you’d think.

And life on the other side of resistance is definitely worth the effort.
