Hello, I'm Oli
I'm a registered counsellor specialising in support for trauma survivors of all ages and neurodiverse young people.
Trauma recovery is a daunting process. Whether you’re regaining your life after experiencing coercive control or putting the pieces back together after living with a narcissist the journey can be confusing, exciting and scary.
For many survivors, finding a professional who gets it is half the struggle.
As well as having undertaken training in assessing and responding to family violence and coercive control, I stay up to date with the latest research in the field to ensure the best possible support for survivors.
I understand that it wasn’t your fault, that the past and the future can seem confusing and scary and that most people just don’t get it.
I also know that it gets better as you heal, that there is a way forward and that we can find it together.
To be neurodiverse in a world built for neurotypical people isn’t easy. Trying to navigate school, work and life can be exhausting, frustrating and confusing, even with caring and supportive people in your corner.
As a counsellor who specialises in working with neurodiverse children and young people I understand that every person’s experience is unique and complex.
I know that The Autism Spectrum, ADHD and other types of neurodiversity encompass a wide variety of experiences. I also understand that the way society responds to these experiences creates a world of challenges for many neurodiverse people.
I start by getting to know your unique experience of the world, who you are and what you want from life. I use a tailored approach that is fun, engaging and informed by quality research. Together we can figure out why the world is so crazy and how you can get the best out of life.
